[ Hongkong Tram adalah sarana transportasi yang murah namun tetap reliable. Tarifnya hanya HKD 3 as 2023 tidak melihat jarak. Kecepatannya memang tidak secepat jika kita naik MTR, kurang lebih sama seperti naik bus. Tetapi karena jalannya overground, kita tidak perlu repot naik turun tangga ala stasiun MTR, juga dapat bonus pemandangan luar. Tram hanya ada di sisi Hongkong Island, melayani dari Kennedy Town di paling Timur hingga Shau Kei Wan di ujung Barat Hongkong Island. Rute tram ditunjukkan oleh papan di depan badan tram seperti petunjuk nomor bus, dengan tulisan tujuan akhirnya. Sedangkan halte posisi naik kita menentukan apakah ingin menuju arah Eastbound Timur atau Westbound Barat. [ Ada 6 rute tram di Hongkong, tapi umumnya rutenya overlapping jadi kita tidak perlu terlalu khawatir. Kalau tips saya cukup hindari tram dengan tujuan Happy Valley dan Western Market, maka resiko nyasar kecil - selagi kita jalannya hanya di Central, Causeway Bay, bahkan Northpoint. Karena rutenya overlapping, jadi bisa dibilang hampir setiap beberapa menit akan ada tram yang melintas di halte, dan kita bisa naik selagi jurusannya cocok. [ Pokoknya jalur yang biasa kita perlu lalui baca turistik bisa dijangkau menggunakan tram, seperti Western Market, Queen St, Des Veux Rd, Mid Level Escalator, Central MTR Station, Pacific Place di Admiralty, akses menuju Lower Peak Tram Terminus, SOGO di Causeway Bay, dan Victoria Park. Cara naik Hongkong tram juga cukup unik; penumpang naik dari belakang dan turun dari depan. Bayarnya saat turun, dengan menaruh uang koin ke dalam kotak pembayaran. Uang bisa lebih tapi tidak akan ada kembalian. Lebih praktis jika kita memakai Octopus Card, tinggal tap saat exit. Karena jalurnya yang sempit, tram di-design dengan lebar body yang tergolong sempit. Untungnya semua tram adalah double-decker alias dua tingkat.
